Men. Dance. Men who dance.

Dance. It’s one of the things I love most. From contemporary, to jazz, to hip-hop, dance is just one of those things that gives me great feeling. It’s a feeling that I can’t even put into words. It’s like this weightless effervescent being takes over and makes me feel beautiful, powerful, sexy, and everything I’ve ever wanted to be. When I dance, I’m a completely different person.

It’s one thing to see a group of ladies kill a really nasty hip-hop routine, but there’s something about men dancing that really gets my gears grinding. There are few things sexier than male choreography, and sometimes I find myself salivating when I see men lyrically perform. It’s one of my sweet spots. It’s powerful, controlled, and just all around hot. If you don’t get it, you don’t get it… but you should probably check some male choreographers out before you judge me.

    🙂 totally love this post.

I certainly agree with the beauty of men dancing. For me, i often find the aesthetics appealing depending on the genre of dance. For the great vids you posted above (that brian puspos one is one of my favorites, he’s a movement genius), the men look absolutely great. When i’m watching a ballet performance, i love nothing more than to watch the delicacy and grace of a woman on pointe and her long, elegant lines. It’s probably because I’m a guy who dances and sees so many other guys dance, but There is often such a difference in the movement styles of men and women (depemding on the genre) that is so interesting to watch.

    • Thanks for stopping by! I’m going to have to check out all of YOUR choreography skills, mister. I’m sure there is not much to be desired after watching you dance! So glad you have the same passion as I do 🙂
