Spring weather is here, and so is my continuous love for snow. Miike Snow, that is. For those of you who don’t know; Miike Snow is actually a Swedish Indie band. Yes, yes, I thought Miike Snow was a singular person, too. I also thought Carey Brothers was a duo, and not a man with the last name “Brothers”. That doesn’t really matter, though, and this post is about Miike Snow. In their original self-titled album, they graced the world with catchy tunes and a different take on electronic sounds. Their newest album, Happy To You, is phenomenal. If you enjoyed the first album where hits like “Animal” and “Burial” were conceived, you will absolutely love Happy To You. Miike Snow is completely underrated and full of creative masterminds. There is not one song of theirs that I dislike, and I can’t get enough of the unique voice and funky electronic rhythms that roar through my speakers. It takes a genius to create music that can make you want to dance one day, and seriously ponder your life the next. So many emotions are evoked whilst listening to Miike, and I can only hope to see them on stage someday! (I know you Coachella goers will be stoked to see them..)
